How Much Does It Cost to Host a House Manager?
MAA house managers (Helpers) receive free board and lodging in your home as a fully integrated family member if a stay-in/full time. In addition, a customary amount of weekly pocket money — perceived as transport for stay-out/part-time arrangements — varies between Ksh.500 and Ksh.1000 (approximate figures), with distance factored in during matching. Detailed information on these and other costs can be found in our subscription plans.
How It Works for Host
Who is a Mom's Assistant House Manager?
A Mom's Assistant is a young person between the ages of 18 and 30 who joins a family in need of assistance for a defined period of time.
As an assistant, you take on a role as a member of the family and help your host family with childcare, housework, gatekeeping, caregiving, or any other assistive role to the host family. In return, you receive accommodation for stay-in or pocket money facilitation for stay-out/part-time arrangements.
